i personally think that our country need to shift more of its efforts
to using renewable energy. i.e. solar power, wind power, and not that there is really a place for it in the usa but geo-thermal.

Wind power would be extremely effective and there are several
plans to have wind farms on the east coast, but all the don't what there beautiful beach front to be "obstructed" be cheap,
clean, reanuable energy,

Well, once we run out of oil I figure the oil companies will disappear and be replaced by wind, solar, geothermal, etc. companies. Then they can engage in price-fixing and monopolizing.
